The pattern behind the album art...
This is a Geocommunetrics Place Portrait composed of three concentric radial patterns derived from the numerical values of three zip codes Monica has called "home." The center-most pattern is that of Durham, NC (27707), the second is Albany Park, Chicago, IL (60625), and the outermost, her most recent home, Evanston, IL (60202). This graphed map is meant to reveal the broadening of vision she has had in each of these home places, how they came to criss-cross and interact, yet remain intact and distinct in her memory. This home-place pattern is superimposed on an image of Monica within 60202 so as to reference the nostalgic visioning that occur in the album's concepts and musings as recorded here in 60202.
Vision is not limited by time, but by space.
